Italská premiérka Meloniová tvrdí, že výdaje na obranu by měly prospět místním firmám

Italská premiérka Giorgia Meloniová se v úterý před parlamentem vyjádřila k výdajům země na obranu a zdůraznila, že jakékoli zvýšení vojenských výdajů by mělo prospět především italským firmám.

Ve svém parlamentním projevu Meloniová uvedla, že pokud Itálie zvýší rozpočet na obranu, aby splnila mezinárodní závazky, měly by tyto dodatečné prostředky směřovat spíše do domácích firem než do zahraničních společností.

Premiérka se tak vyjádřila v době, kdy Itálie čelí tlaku, aby splnila své závazky v oblasti výdajů na obranu v rámci dohod NATO.
